Vista by Davis and Sanford, a Tiffen Company brand, has designed a lightweight economy fluid tripod for DSLR and video – the new FUSION.
The FUSION is made of high strength plastic and aluminum alloy and is precisely machined to offer the quality demanded by photo and video shooters. The FUSION head incorporates a new built in fluid system. The fluid system is not only ideal for photographic cameras with video mode, but also perfect for birdwatching and mini DV cameras.
Removing the camera and lens from the head is simple and fast. Simply pull the lock release lever pull the plate out. The quick release plate is non keyed, so it can be positioned any way in the head. The head on the FUSION tripod is designed to carry a capacity of up to 8 lbs. It has a spirit level and calibrations for pan and tilt to ensure perfect leveling and a single easy grip pan and tilt handle. The head has 3 way action-pan, portrait tilt and landscape tilt.
The FUSION aluminum alloy legs have been redesigned to offer better support and the quick action leg locks are easy to use. FUSION can reach a maximum working height of 61inches. The folded length is 25 inches.
FUSION provides speedy set-up coupled with added security with quick action, lever-type leg locks and an adjustable bracing system. It is ideal for use with 35mm, and digital or conventional type video camcorders.
