Audio-Technica has developed an RFI-shielding mechanism that is an integral part of the connectors in the Engineered Sound line. The ATCT crimp tool enables you to shorten the cable of microphones in the Engineered Sound line and(with the addition of a new RF shield available from the A.T.U.S. Parts Department)correctly reinstall the connector while maintaining the highest level of RFI immunity.
