The system employs the Camplex 3GSDI fiber converter combined with a field reliable ST fiber tactical snake reel.
The transmitter and receiver of the Camplex TACNGO-3GTR need just 5-volts of power making it an ideal compact tool for outside broadcast productions and live event video shoots. The fiber converters not only extend a 3G-SDI signal supporting 1080p@60Hz but can also carry SDI or SD signals when a monitoring solution is required.
The system receiver features an optical power meter that displays signal strength for added confidence that your production is always live and on the air. By utilizing a super rugged reel, a lightweight BNC cable can be connected to your camera to keep weight at a minimum while the use of a fiber based system ensures nearly zero loss over extreme distances.
Single mode connections are completed with bayonet lock ST connectors to ensure positive mating. The system fully supports SMPTE-424M (3G-SDI), SMPTE-292M (HD-SDI) and SMTPE- 259M (SD-SDI) signals.
