D6204A - Overview

The Ward-Beck D6204A is an AES/EBU digital to analog audio converter designed for broadcast use. It provides digital to analog audio conversion along with AES/EBU signal distribution. When the D6204A is used in combination with a T6302A rear termination module it provides 4 reclocked copies of the AES/EBU input signal as well as 2 copies of converted analog output. The D6204A supports audio sampling frequencies from 30kHz to 192 kHz. It converts the incoming AES/EBU digital audio signal to a stereo analog audio signal using 24 bit conversion technology. Cable equalization and reclocking techniques enable the D6204A to recover the incoming digital audio signal reliably. The D6204A supports audio sampling frequencies from 30kHz to 192 kHz. The D6204A is housed in the openGear OG3-FR-C series frames and can be configured and monitored through DashBoard.

Rear module and frame sold separately.
